i'm diving in

Just trying out this blogging thing.. I meet so many neat people and would love to elaborate, but just didn't have a forum in the past. Thought this would be the perfect opportunity. Also, I get lots of emails from friends of friends or clients who are interested in taking better photos of their own kids, or starting a business, so I'll be addressing that as well when I can.

But, less of that and more of the fun stuff! Here's a new spot I'd love to frequent more often. Took my own kids there this weekend to try it out. I'm thinking of opening a Sat or Sunday here in the fall for Christmas photos. Img_0249_1 Img_0275 See more of this shoot here: Rice Univ Location

thanks for looking and let me know that you're out there. My business manager (aka tight husband.. ha ha) has given me a month and said I can keep the blog as long as there's 15 comments by the end of the time. Are there 15 of you out there that keep up with chubbyfoot??

And lastly, here's a draft schedule for the fall season. I'm opening up a couple of Saturday sessions, along with various locations around Houston for all my Houston cleints. I hope it helps some of you travelers. thanks and hope to hear from you!

most weekdays
Saturday, September 16th in Kingwood
Sundays Sept 10, 17th, and 24th available (8 or 9am, then 12 - 5pm)

Hey there-

I'm totally impressed- and I like the Rice spot. Very convenient for those of us down here in Houston and your two kiddos look sharp there!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop with this blog- I'm looking forward to setting up our holiday shoot. We've got a new addition, Sarah (4/24/06) to capture in chubbyfoot form! Guess I'd better do it soon- you might book up!

hey!well, we have talked about it, too, and we want a houston spot. we really want to get all 4 of us looking great this year. i'm still amazed at how awesome the kids' pictures were last year when they were being so uncooperative! i'll talk to the hubby and plan a date asap.

Hello -

I would just like to stay that you are the only person who has been able to capture the beautiful smile of my oldest daughter (Princess Elyssa). If you recall, November of last year, the only way we were able to get a photo of her smile, was to put her upside down on MOM's back with her Santa hat on. The pictures turned out wonderful and I now have a great story to tell.

Thanks so much for the great work that you do, you have Customers for life with the Parkers!

Great Rice photos. After getting copies to Grandma and all the relatives and friends, I finally got my own beautiful shots up on the wall just in time for my son's first birthday party. Many rave reviews on your work. I don't know how you capture such awesome shots when the kiddos won't sit still, but I'm glad you can. We'll be coming back for Christmas.

I'm looking forward to our next photo shoot in Ocotber. Last year we had talked about using my House for a shoot in the Heights. We decorate with a nice fall theme. If you want to try to schedule a days worth of shoots in the Heights let me know. I can send you some photos from last year so you can get an idea of what it looks like or just ask Lisa.
